Picked up a pencil today
After months, actually almost a year, I picked up a pencil again.
Have an idea, but not sure on how to make it happen, or even how to start...
Let's see.
Muse is dead
As some might have noticed, it has been a while since I posted anything or even been around.
Several events in my personal and professional life have taken their toll in my creative aspect. To be completely honest, I can't even get myself to be even interested in drawing or even conceptualizing.
It has gotten to the point that I have 2 friends that commissioned me to produce some simple work and I had to say no.
I have tried to force myself to work some images, but they have been almost mechanical and technical in the creative process.
I just hope I can get my muse back, cause this sucks.
Gladius Dei, War of Revelations
I know I have been a bit slow in posting up images of the reworked story and elements. This is mostly a mix between Real Life getting in the way and a lot of research time.
One of the biggest changes will be a reinterpretation of the characters and adding another character. The reason is that if they are to battle the 7 Sins, they should be the 7 Virtues.
As you have seen, the team's transport is now Gabriel's Lance. Another is to emphasis the country of each member. Each member should be from the countries affected by the Great War.

History and Pulp...The new Gladius Dei.
As I have said over and over, history can be so much cooler than fiction. Reading over some links I have come across some interesting things that I can work into the new Gladius Dei Storyline.
The Ahnenerbe was a Nazi German think tank that promoted itself as a "study society for Intellectual Ancient History." These guys made expeditions to:
Finland to study Witchcraft.
Sweden to study a cryptic language predating most written languages.
Italy to study ancient stone carvings.
Middle East to study specific events in the Roman Empire that happened near Bucharest, Iran, and Libya.
New Swabia was a German colony in the Antarctic.
