I know I have been a bit slow in posting up images of the reworked story and elements. This is mostly a mix between Real Life getting in the way and a lot of research time.

One of the biggest changes will be a reinterpretation of the characters and adding another character. The reason is that if they are to battle the 7 Sins, they should be the 7 Virtues.
As you have seen, the team's transport is now Gabriel's Lance. Another is to emphasis the country of each member. Each member should be from the countries affected by the Great War.

Faith will be French
Angel is Russian.
Bishop if from Africa, possibly Ethiopia (ties with the British Colonies)
Rosario is Spanish.

Now, this is where I am not sure. I still have Deacon, Confessor and the new member.

Confessor
Since Rosario is Spanish, maybe Confessor should not be. I love the idea of giving him that Spanish Inquisitor feel. Maybe Rosario should not be Spanish, but with that name? And I have never heard of anyone called Rosary. Confessor on the other hand is a title, so it could apply to other countries. I was actually thinking of making him a Scott. Give him a kilt, and a "larger than life" feel.

Deacon and the Pilot.
If I am making a Pilot, he should be American, make him a veteran of the Flying Tigers. (the guys that flew as mercs for the Chinese, they had the planes with the shark mouths.) I thought of simply making this guy the new Deacon, but a fighter Ace would be to cocky and proud to use the name Deacon (assistant to the priest.) So I don't have a name for him yet, even if I do have a look for him.

Deacon can easily be worked around to be an Americanization of some Chinese name. Dai Kong could have been mixed up and ended as Deacon. Why Chinese? The Japanese went all out to conquer China and the Nazi had several missions to Tibet.  Deacon should be some kind of Monk or an Abbot (another name for Deacon). Not sure if he should be that skinny kid, the Bruce Lee/Jet Li wannabe or the Gentle Giant of a monk, the last one is a bit too stereotypical for my taste.

Larger than life Scotsman - what about modeling him on Billy Connolly, from "The Man Who Sued God" and "Boondock Saints"? Though, in truth, I have difficulty making that suggestion, because I still like seeing Anthony Hopkins as Confessor.

In truth, I don't think you should try to theme them by country. I like the sins/virtues theming.
