“Gladius Dei is an action/adventure RPG game where a pair of half angels, with the help of like minded individuals, unleash divine retribution on the forces of hell in a modern day metropolis.”

Abstract:
After being cast down from heaven, the daemon princes have used earth as their own playground. For centuries small groups have set up a resistance against these demonic forces. This is the story of one such group.

Description:
You take on the role of the Keepers, half angels entrusted with weapons forged from celestial metals. As Faith, you will dual wield celestial six shooters, unleashing a flurry of brimstone till you chose to reveal the true nature of your weapons, a divine flaming sword. As Word, you wield a Gatling shotgun until you decide to turn the battle more personal, fighting of hell spawn with a pair of holy cestuses.

Deacon, team driver and relics expert, and Angel, a weapon smith and markswoman of unparallel skill, help you in your crusade. Leading the team is the Confessor, former Jesuit priest and veteran Gladius Dei member and his granddaughter, Fatima, who’s prophetic visions guide the keepers to where they are needed the most.

Your nemeses are the influence of the daemon princes, manifested on several individuals whose soul purpose is the perpetuation of Hell on earth.
